The Brief

Irvine Adamson & Co is an accountancy firm based in Angus with a history of over 60 years. They were keen to get across that they are a company that gave a professional service at a personal level. The site should convey to potential clients that they are in safe hands and outline the services that the firm provides.

The Solution

The whole site is made up of only four pages; however each of the four pages contains lots of information. The partners each have a profile describing what they do and their background, which gives the site the personal touch. The information contained in the pages is split into sub-sections and displayed using JavaScript, so essentially the potential client only views the information they want. This works particularly well when explaining their services. Because the information is not dynamic this allowed the graphic designer to come up with a great design that creates the illusion of depth and layering. This was achieved using CSS, making use of background images, shadows, PNGs and rounded corners to create a very modern looking layout and design. View this site
